  • Tân Hoa Tự Điển 1.明﹑清官名。明初有六科庶吉士￠武十八年使进士观政于诸司，练习办事。其在翰林院﹑承敕监等近衙门者，采《书》"庶常吉士"之义，俱改称为庶吉士。永乐后专属翰林院，选进士文学优等及善书者为之。三年后举行考试，成绩优良者分别授以编修﹑检讨等职;其余则为给事中﹑御史，或出为州县官，谓之"散馆"。明代重翰林，天顺后非翰林不入阁，因而庶吉士始进之时，已群目为储相。清沿明制，于翰林院设庶常馆，掌教习庶吉士事。庶吉士又通称"庶常"。参阅清福格《听雨丛谈》卷六。参见"庶常"。
