  • MOE · 教育部重編國語辭典 人名。（西元1882～1916）原名艮寅，字松坡，湖南邵陽人。日本陸軍士官學校騎兵科畢業。辛亥革命時為雲南都督，後解兵權，居住京師，袁世凱稱帝時，潛赴雲南，首先起兵宣布獨立，稱護國軍，各省響應，袁氏之謀遂敗。黎元洪繼任總統，任蔡鍔為四川省督軍，兼民政長，後因病歿於日本東京。編有《曾胡治兵語錄》。後人輯其作為《蔡松坡先生遺集》。
